Job Description

We are seeking DE Underwriter Mortgage and Loan Processors to become a part of our clients team! You will evaluate and authorize approval of real estate, commercial, and credit loans. This company is in Riverside, CA and requires you to work on site for a temp-hire opportunity $90-$120K!!!! My client is moving fast and looking to start someone immediately! MUST HAVE UNDERWRITING EXPERIENCE or LOAN PROCESSING, great company and people to work with.

JOB DUTIES include, but are not limited to:

• Underwrite FHA/VA and Conforming loan applications ensuring adherence to Company and investor credit quality standards.
• Analyze mortgage loan files, which includes customer’s application, income documentation, appraisal and title reports, to ensure compliance with the company's policies, as well as, state and federal regulations.
• Ensure timely review and follow-up steps in order to meet and exceed customer’s expectations.
• Keep up-to-date on investor and regulatory policies, procedures and changes that affect mortgage underwriting.
• Follow up with clients to clarify important points
• Give the “green light” to eligible candidates and report decisions with sound arguments
• Finalize loan contracts and keep clients informed in rules and obligations
• Remain up to speed regarding lending and other financial services
• Create and renew records
• Identify customer needs, explore all options and suggest different types of loans
• Cultivate trustworthy referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services
• Forge trust relationships and enhance customer dedication

REQUIREMENTS:

• FHA DE Designation required (CHUMS#)
• A minimum of 5 years FHA Underwriting experience as a DE OR Loan Processor 
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of all federal and state guidelines
