    Job Description

     

    In this position you will be responsible to manage the order fulfillment process and develop strong relationships with our customers . This person serves as the primary customer contact for order processing, shipping status and logistics. This position works very closely with all departments in the production and delivery of customer goods. The key to success will be developing those contacts and understanding all aspects of Logistics. Often the primary contact with the customer to ensure open communication and updates on all aspects of orders are processed. This position also functions to provide quotes and/or advice on order status. 

     

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage all order-related activities for an assigned customer base including order processing, shipping schedule, invoicing, and post-delivery support
    • Create and follow up on customer quotes as needed
    • Update and maintain customer account information databases
    • Be available to answer questions from customers or other departments
    • Participate on project teams as assigned
    • Reviewing all customer status reports on a daily basis for accuracy
    • Maintain a good working relationship with customers and their customers by responding in a professional, efficient and timely manner to all inquiries and complaints concerning receipts, shipments, invoices, inventory, etc.
    • Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts and between the office and the customer regarding invoicing or procedural changes. Report customer feedback to management, including any signs of customer dissatisfaction.
    • Duties include but not limited to phone detail, greeting visitors, scheduling/prioritizing service activities to meet the customer expectations and other clerical duties as directed.
    • Process orders and verify inbound receipts for accuracy. Run stock reports to check for product availability and accuracy of inventory records. Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer orders, checking all orders for special requests, and post and reconcile inventory records. Oversee all paperwork associated with merchandise receipts and orders, and maintain the corresponding files.
    • Coordinate any special, last minute shipping requests with operations management and expediting any order as necessary. Follow up with other departments to ensure that service standards are being met.
    • Trace orders as required and notify customers of any activity concerning their merchandise or expected level of service. Furnish shipping and tracing information to customers as required.
    • Assure proper and timely invoicing of accounts and verify computer generated invoices.

     

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

    • Three - Five years customer service experience or equivalent industry experience specifically- Transportation/ shipping, web portal routing, creation of shipping documents, driver handling and label generation
    • Solid command of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Outlook, WMS Platform (BlueCherry) 
    • Experience working with big box retailers and Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon.com 
    • Route order through a TMS system 
    • Extensive communication skills, Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, phone and driver handling
    • Time Management:Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively with high attention to detail
    • Excellent customer service skills, Strong customer orientation
    • Team player, Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
    • Bi-lingual. English/Spanish preferred
