The Senior Financial Analyst for our Controller Group will participate in projects related to lease accounting, divestitures, acquisitions, other technical accounting areas/issues, financial reporting and implementation of accounting policies. On a project basis, perform in-depth evaluations to ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policy. Work closely with business unit finance leaders as well as external auditors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct technical research on accounting issues and new accounting standards impacting the financial reporting process. Remain highly current on all accounting pronouncements
- Assist in the accounting and reporting of acquired and divested businesses
- Assist in the implementation and on-going monitoring of new and recent accounting standards
- Update and prepare accounting policy and process documentation
- Participate in month-end and quarterly general ledger activities including account analysis, journal entries and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and document information included in interim and annual financial statements and earnings releases
- Other projects may include purchase accounting, process improvement efforts related to accounting and financial reporting and preparing documentation supporting accounting conclusions

Required Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
- Big 4 accounting experience preferred with current technical accounting research background
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience and proficient in applying GAAP
