- Tend machines that shred and/or compresses and binds paper by-products generated from the print manufacturing process to facilitate disposition of the waste materials.
- Thread tie bands around bale and twists or clamps ends of bands to tighten bands.
- Truck bales to storage location using pallet jacks or fork lifts.
- Complete daily PIV safety checklist.
- Weight the bales and keep records of the gross weight, materials grade of the bales.
- Perform weekly routine maintenance on the baling machinery and remove obstructions in the cyclone as needed.
- May load bales on trucks for disposal and complete shipping manifest.

- Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.
- Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine, and the need for such adjustments are readily apparent.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to flex schedule to meet the needs of production, including working a different shift if needed.
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $17.00 to $25.00 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
