Behavioral Health Clinician - Chistochina, Alaska - Mount Sanford Tribal Consortium
The Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of clinical services to community members and those who have been victims of domestic violence. Clinical services include comprehensive behavioral health assessments, development and ongoing review of treatment plans, transition/discharge planning as well as individual and group counseling sessions.
Required Skills
Act as a primary counselor and case manager for victims of domestic violence and clients experiencing emotional, behavioral and addictive behaviors in an outpatient setting.
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and evaluations, problem lists and treatment plans.
Conduct individual group and or family counseling sessions in compliance with program standards and client needs.
Provide counseling through a variety of treatment modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy that meet behavioral health standards of care.
Completes all file documentation, progress notes, invoices, reports and other required data in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintain client records in accordance with the Tribe's and Medicaid standards.
Follow all grant requirements, including AKAIMS and reporting grant requirements.
Actively participate in meetings that support the integrated health care model to provide comprehensive care for clients.
Attends all staff meetings, staff trainings and provides written reports as required by supervisor.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by the program supervisor.
Licensed and certified personnel will be held accountable for providing services in accordance with relevant external or internal requirements and education, such as, legislation governing practice; licensure, registration, and certification requirements; professional degrees; professional training to maintain established competency levels; on-the-job training requirements of the program; and professional standards of practice.
