SHIFT: NIGHTS - 7P - 7A / $3.00 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
HOURLY RATE: $16.75 - $18.00 (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)
SIGN-ON BONUS: $1000 (DISTRIBUTED TWO MONTHLY PAYMENTS AND IS BASED ON A PERFORMANCE REVIEW)

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Complete company-provided training for powered industrial trucks
- Drive forklift equipped with lifting devices such as fork-grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch
- Push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move raw paper materials, in-process products, finished products, equipment, or materials in warehouse, storage yard, or factory
- Move materials and equipment using an overhead rail crane or operate a rail car mover such as a track mobile.
- Load and unload semi-trailer trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory and report any discrepancies
- Load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device
- Perform safety checks on lifts.
- Perform safety check and light maintenance as required - lubricate truck, recharge batteries, fill fuel tank, or replace the liquefied-gas tank
- Responsible for inventory control, tracking and reporting inventory utilizing a materials management system.
- Organize and assign storage space utilized in warehousing and moving materials in the departments.
Required Skills
KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE
- Must have at least 3 years of experience operating a forklift with clamp attachments in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Knowledge of safe operating procedures for power industrial trucks
- Knowledge of weight capacities, balancing product, and height thresholds
- Experience relocating, picking material in narrow aisles, moving material up / down ramps, and unloading product from transportation vehicles
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED
