    NIGHT SHIFT  3 DAY/4 DAY

    RRD IS LOOKING FOR AN ENERGETIC, AND HIGHLY MOTIVATED TEAM MEMBER TO JOIN OURPRESS ROOM TEAM AT OUR ELK GROVE VILLAGE FACILITY! WE WILL PROVIDE FULL TRAINING, AND A SIGN-ON BONUS OF $1,000 FOR THOSE THAT SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THEIR PROBATION PERIOD!

    Remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels or other in-process product from discharge unit of printing press or adhesive coating equipment. 

    Review signatures for smearing, register issues, bad folds, etc and notify the Pressroom.  

    Remove folded signatures from web press and place signatures on pallet or skid for removal to warehouse or binding areas. 

    May adjust stacking mechanism on press according to paper dimensions. 

    Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, carts and trays.  Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, electric dolly, or other device.  Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.  Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.  Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincher. 

    May use automated equipment and/or operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.  

    May assist Press Crew with make-ready of the equipment such as retrieving plates, hanging plates, recycling/storing plates etc. 

    May perform in process quality checks of printed materials looking for blemishes, scratches  or other print defects.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    Good knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes, basic warehouse procedures, and the storage areas in order to be able to place or pull paper stock, signatures and materials in accordance with standard procedures.

    Able to stock, move, jog, arrange, unload, count and rotate items on/off printing press equipment in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a press operator or supervisor.  May require knowledge of operation of automatic counters and tabulate counts for jobs. 

    Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.

    ood skill in the use of manual dollies, carts or hand trucks and hand tools used in material handling tasks such as hammers, pliers, strapping and stretch wrapping tools and equipment, tape fasteners, metal band sheers and related equipment.

  • Qualifications

     

    Comply with the Community Health Aide Program Certification Board (CHAPCB) Standards for Community Health Aide Training and Supervision and use of the electronic Community Health Aide Manual (eCHAM).

     

    Serve as clinical point of contact and instructor for CHA/Ps and ensure compliance with CHAP training and certification requirements, clinical protocols, policies, and procedures.

     

    Assist with development of KANA’s quality improvement activities with respect to Community Health Aide clinical services.

     

    Perform clinical training for KANA CHA/Ps as needed or requested.

     

    Assist with and provide guidance on clinical matters regarding the scope of services, facilities, supplies, and staffing within the Community Health Aide Program (CHAP)

     

    Perform routine general medical and specialized duties that fall within technical and educational expertise in Kodiak and village community clinics and home visits as necessary.

     

    Provide primary and emergent healthcare services including evaluation, treatment, and follow-up under the guidance from the Statewide CHAP, including responding to after hour emergencies on an on-call basis.

     

    Travel by small aircraft to provide itinerant medical services to the village communities and/or to provide training and clinical supervision to Community Health Aides. May require travel up to 15 days  per month as needed.

     

    Consult a supervising or designated physician when any unfamiliar, uncommon, or unstable conditions arise.

                                                                                                                                                               

    Remain current in improvements in the field of medicine and strive to incorporate those improvements into the program when appropriate, maintaining licensure and other credentials as required.

     

    Participate as an integral member of the health division in the provision of medical services by collaborating with other health professionals to provide the KANA patient complete and comprehensive care.

     

    Monitor and share necessary information to facilitate risk prevention activities with management. Participate in peer review sessions with other providers.

     

    Continually strive to improve patients’ experience and quality of care by focusing on key leverage points of access, continuity, team based care, clinical information systems, patient self-management, and community engagement.

     

    Represent KANA in a positive and respectful manner assisting in the promotion and maintenance of good public relations among staff, community groups, and professional organizations.

     

    Use verbal and written communication skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, colleagues, subordinates, management, and other KANA staff.

     

    Practice meaningful customer service addressing patient and staff needs courteously and promptly.

     

    Correctly document entries and maintain patient charts as outlined in the KANA Medical Clinic policies and procedures.

     

    Accurately and promptly provide coding, billing or other financial information to KANA billing and Finance Officers and follow up insurance pre-authorizations as required or when requested. 

     

    Follow established protocols for patient referrals within and outside the Alaska Tribal Health system.

     

    Work with Contract Health Services to prioritize medical needs of patients; work within the CHS budget to ensure financial stability.

     

    Coordinate and participate in community outreach programs, serve on KANA committees, and prepare reports or other documentation as directed, assigned, or required.

     

    Attend all OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory compliance training as directed or required;

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities: This position provides clinical supervision to Community Health Aides.
