  • Responsibilities

     

    Under the direct supervision of the Emergency Services Manager oversees all Supply Chain Management activities.

    Required Skills

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with the EMSM in the development of strategic plans, with focus on logistical support of departmental activity.
    • Responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of Supply chain management to help CRNA achieve exceptional customer service.
    • Coach and develop employees, with an emphasis on developing leadership skills and creating positive teamwork environments.
    • Present consistent and transparent performance reporting.
    • Conduct financial feasibility forecasts to ensure that current and projected expenditures are in line with overall goals/objectives.
    • Responsible for ensuring that all supply chain management services meet budget expectations.
    • Coordinate with SMT on equipment purchases, lease arrangements, and expansion of services.
    • Continually review systems, processes, procedures, and policies to promote innovation, integration, collaboration, and efficiency.
    • Maintain ability to operate the Inventory Software Program and train others in all aspects of the system.
    • Initiate and maintain policies and procedure for the general operation of the supply chain management program to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct, and provide administrative supervision and guidance to management and employees.
    • Perform other duties as assigned with minimal guidance.

     

    NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships throughout CRNA and with outside contacts
    • Strong management and supervisory skills
    • Strong leadership abilities, including personnel development.
    • Knowledge of healthcare supply operations and administration
    • Strong understanding and sensitivity to Alaska Native culture and lifestyle, with demonstrated experience working effectively with Alaska Native populations
    • Effective oral and written communications skills
    • Proficient in computer application systems
    • Ability to keep accurate records and produce timely and accurate written reports
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality as required for HIPAA and other regulations
    • Ability to learn and apply program/agency operating policies and procedures
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks concurrently and meet deadlines

    Required Experience

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS                                                                                                       

    • Five (5) years of experience working in related field
    • One (1) year of experience in team leadership and direct supervision
    • Understanding of coding and reimbursement systems, inventory management and performance improvement
    • A combination of experience, education, and training may substitute for degree requirements

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Two (2) years of experience in logistical operations
    • Tribal Health Organization experience
