  • Responsibilities

    Plans, organizes, and coordinates the maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair of the Company’s facilities and equipment. Monitors and inspects all buildings and equipment to ensure that utility systems are fully operational and that preventive maintenance schedules are being followed. Assist with the preparing cost estimates for building renovations or space allocations. Evaluates completed work and checks for conformance to specifications. Determine needs for equipment leases, purchases, and services. Maintain vendor relationships. Ensure that projects meet specifications and budgets. Ensure that necessary licenses and permits are obtained.

     

    • Plans & schedules facilities modifications including estimates & bids for construction. Ensure the site complies with and maintains all required permitting and statutory requirements.
    • Inspects construction & installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications.
    • Supports the coordination of building space allocation, layout, & communications services.
    • Coordinates the daily relationship & staffing of the on-site security company. Support the site & Group facilities in completing Customer security audits , CTPAT and TAPA certification if required .
    • Evaluates safety & ergonomic related issues in production, warehousing, & offices. Suggests improvements to minimize work related injuries.
    • Ensures that all aspects of the Quality Policy & Objectives are understood and enacted.
    • Oversee the installation of safety & security equipment .
    • Supports site in conducting job safety and analysis.
    • Supports Industrial Engineering in the design and procurement of fixtures & equipment including Racking and PIV
    • Support the Site Management Team in Business Continuity Planning.
    • Primary contact for janitorial service, pest control & vending companies.
    • Assist EHS Lead with the responsibility of implementing and sustaining assigned EHS programs.

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Associates Degree and 2+ years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience. Ability to read, analyze, & interpret business periodicals & journals technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, & procedures. Ability to effectively present information & respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and general public. Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms & quadratic equations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability & validity, analysis of variance and correlation techniques & sampling theory. Ability to solve practical problems & deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions finished in written, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual & practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graph, etc.)
