  • Responsibilities

    Sells the organization's products and/or services to an assigned set of customers or a geographic region. This account assignment may include some accounts with minimal account share or even pure prospects, but the majority of the role is focused on expanding relationships with existing customers. This is a senior position, requiring significant prior experience in the industry and in the same or similar selling roles. Has more years of experience and larger book of business and accounts. Directly responsible for the growth within existing accounts with a total net shipments between $6M-$10M.

    • Manages a select number of clients for renewals, upsells and cross selling & potentially client services.
    • Implement business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities with major accounts.
    • Possess very detailed product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of client's business.
    • Submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets.
    • Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients.
    • Provide ongoing support to high value clients ensuring they receive high quality customer service.
    • Serve as a liaison between clients and company departments.
    • Informs clients of new products and services as they are introduced. Recommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needs.
    • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Must have previous sales experience.

    • Able to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments.
    • Salesforce.com knowledge and usage preferred
    • Valid Driver’s License

  • Qualifications

    Knowledge of nursing science, principles, techniques, and procedures for the care of patients. Knowledge of healthcare terminology, anatomy, physiology and concepts of disease. Knowledge and ability to utilize evidence based practice to develop the plan of care and interventions. Knowledge of the hospital environment and how the services and functions interact. Knowledge of Alaskan culture. Knowledge of nursing theorists and ability to provide theory based care for patients. Knowledge of shared governance environment with shared-decision making.

    Skill in critical thinking to provide effective and compassionate nursing care, assessing patient situations and taking effective courses of action. Skill in providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Skill in providing effective nursing services, assessing patient situations and taking effective courses of action. Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple requests by patients, families, and team members.  Skill in evaluating health problems, and making recommendations based on observations. Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications.
