The Dental Health Aide Therapist (DHAT) under limited oversight by a Dentist, will provide routine dental services within the scope of practice, to include providing culturally appropriate dental disease prevention and education services. The DHAT will also provide chair side assistance as needed, and instruct patients in after care for dental treatments rendered. Travel to remote locations by boat, snowmobile, ATV or small plane.

LOCATIONS: One position to be based in any of the following Regional Communities: Anchorage, Cordova, Homer, Seward, Port Graham, Nanwalek, Chenega Bay, Tatitlek, or Valdez, AK

Required Skills Required Experience

• • Completion of the DHAT program and have met the federal CHAP requirements as a Dental Health Aide Therapist administered by ANTHC.
    • Dental Health Aide Therapist Certification
    • BLS Certification
    • Willing to complete 4 year work payback obligation for DHAT training received (if applicable).
