  • Responsibilities

    The FNP or PA-C provider is a candidate for a clinical position with responsibility for providing primary care services at Annette Island Service Unit. This responsibility includes primary care patient encounters, participation in on-call schedule, compliance with regulatory requirements, and participation in quality practices. This is a full time position, and is directly supervised by the Medical Director.

     

    Required Skills

     Qualifications

     

    • Trained in primary care specialty, or as approved by Service Unit Director/HEW
    • Licensed or license-eligible by the State of Alaska
    • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in Alaska within 6 months of hire
    • Proven ability in clinical practice
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to follow projects through to completion
    • Ability to build consensus and work in a team setting
    • Strong conflict management, negotiation and persuasion skills, professional demeanor, attitude, and motivation
    • Education and Experience

     

     

     

    Graduate of an accredited FNP or PA program
