Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Intermittent/On-Call - Surgery Inpatient
Perform routine but varied clercial duties on the manufacturing floor in accordance with standard procedures. Provide clercial support by recording, entering and verifying data from a variety of sources and documents. Maintain records, compile standard reports, file, tabulate, and performing routine clercial tasks related to manufacturing. Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other departments' functions. May be responsible for data entry, reporting, checking or verifying of information, generation of reports and responding to data requests. Responsible for maintaining department files. May assist with production planning and special projects. May assist in resolving payroll issues.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS Knowledge of safety factors and medical terminology. Knowledge of policies and procedures for the care of patients. Knowledge of customer service concepts and practices. Knowledge of communication skills, both oral and written to interact with patients and families. Skill in observing patients and taking appropriate action as needed. Skill in analyzing safety issues and preparing recommendations based on findings. Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other employees. Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications.
