CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for a Region Lead in the Pacific Northwest region. The Region Lead will oversee operations in Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
Region Leads provide direction over specific TAP regional on-site support networks within CONUS and overseas. Each Region Lead is responsible for day-to-day oversight of a group of Site Leads located at each installation with a permanent VA TAP presence. Each Region Lead also provides direct assistance to their respective Area Lead in the execution of their responsibilities. A Region Lead is expected to possess all qualifications of a Benefits Briefer and a Site Lead. The Region Lead is a seasoned leader adept at overseeing geographically dispersed staff with the capabilities of individuals in their area of responsibility. Specific functions include:
- Ensure all Site Leads within their area are completing all MOST requirements within specified timelines (Daily data entry and reporting, pre-trip requests, post trip reports, ordering and receipt confirmation of office supplies/classroom materials, etc.)
- Conduct outreach to establish rapport with supported installation personnel/offices, VAROs and other stakeholders in their area involved with the transition and VA claims processes
- Conduct mentoring, training, and evaluation of assigned VA Benefits Advisors and Site Leads
- Provide oversight and tracking of field personnel, briefing support, travel, schedules, and quality and administrative requirements in MOST to resolution
- Coordinate movement of resources and schedules in the execution of VA TAP services within their region to ensure no events are missed and quality standards are met
- Conduct site assessments and quality control visits to the installations within their assigned region
- Consolidate reporting of permanent site activities within their AOR
- Ensure hand off of Site Lead responsibilities between old and new Site Leads as necessary to ensure continuity of operations and no missed events
- Conduct operational site assessment visits to all installations within the assigned operational area to assess the site’s compliance with project policies and to assess Site Lead and Benefits Advisor proficiency.
- Visit permanent and itinerant support locations as necessary and approved by TED and CALIBRE Operations Lead
- Lead regular and frequent meetings with Site Leads in order to facilitate the continual flow of information
- Anticipate potential risks and issues to minimize their impact to the mission and engage the Area Lead as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Lead and Area Lead

- Understanding of current veteran issues and challenges pre- and post- transitions
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or 7-10 years’ equivalent work/military experience
- Preferred emphasis in Training, Education, Career Counseling, or HR
- Appropriate certifications
