What you will do Job Summary The Workforce Reporting Analyst is responsible for working with operations and functional teams to develop reports and dashboards. This role designs, develops, and implements business intelligence solutions aimed at providing end users with self-service capabilities and personalized, automated data alerts that drive business decisions. Essential Functions Conducts discussions with business users and analysts to understand reporting requirements and recommend reportingBI solutions. Designs, develops, and implements business intelligence reporting solutions based on user requirements to enhance the end user experience. Facilitates self-service reporting and ad hoc requests by creating standardized data sets, data models, and near real time dashboards to be used by end users and analysts. Develops deep understanding of the data sources and data structures of the company to facilitate data extractions used in analysis and reports. Provides production support of the reporting and analytic environment including troubleshooting of reports, new user set up, data inquiries, and ad-hoc request. Performs complex analysis and ad hoc requests and presents findings to business leaders to support decision making. Uses Business Intelligence tools to create solutions in an efficient manner. Designs and develops core business metrics, creates insightful automated dashboards and data visualization to track them and extract useful business insights. Works on cross functional teams serving as an analytics consultant andor reporting specialist. Communicates results through rich visualizations and presentations to senior leadership. Develops actionable business insight using statistical and predictive modelling techniques to identify underlying patterns in data. Detects anomalies in data from various data sources, do consistency checks, identify opportunities to help narrow operational gaps and expand business. Performs quality assurance testing on reporting solutions and ad hoc requests. Creates documentation for reporting solutions and analysis. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Possesses a solid understanding of the standard machine learning practices Familiarity using parallel processing and distributed processing tools to facilitate running computationally. Possesses an understanding of Data Warehouse concepts. Demonstrates proficiency in conducting analytical research against source data, manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying data warehouse sources and constantly engage business knowledge in order to do quick prototypes to find data insights. Qualifications Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics or Business field. Five (5+) years of experience working in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and developing Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx and opensource statistical programming languages. Experience working in reproducible statisticalscripting languages such as RPython, reporting tools such as Tableau, IBM Cognos etc. Project management and process improvement experience. 1-2 years of experience working in Big Data Framework and utilizing Big Data tools to manipulate big data sets and produce actionable insights.
