Qualifications Current and non-restricted Virginia RN or LPN nursing license 12 months of nursing experience 6 months or more of pediatric experience Awesome communication skills that foster a compassionate and caring environment Must be able to pass a full background check and drug screen What Will You Be Doing? As a part of the American Critical Care Services team, you will be serving the needs of medically fragile clients in their homes. Many times, these clients have very specific and complex health requirements. Although the plan of case is ordered by the primary physician you will be an important and essential link in the care chain. As an RN or LPN at American Critical Care Services, you will assure patient safety through the implementation of the highest quality care driven by the nursing process. You will accomplish this by working closely with the care team to achieve shared goals. Some specific skills that may be required in working with this select client population are: G-Tube experience Skin care and wound prevention Pediatric experience Excellent respiratory assessment skills Working with patients with cerebral palsy While we serve clients who have tracheostomies and are ventilator dependent, we also serve many clients who do not require these technologies.
