Our PA/NPs are essential members of the care team in our delivery of these services.

    Travel physicians are members of the team that care for patients across locations. We are looking for outstanding physicians with high-quality care that deliver an outstanding patient and staff experience.

    Delivering the Best Healthcare Possible

    · Assesses patient needs within an urgent care and primary care setting

    · Appropriately triages patients to differentiate the patient needs

    · Evaluates patients in a timely manner, putting patient care above clerical duties

    · Performs a thorough history and physical exam on each patient

    · Creates an individualized, evidence-based plan of care

    · Appropriately consults the covering urgent care physician and radiologist

    · Effectively manages private, occupational medicine, and workers’ compensation patients

    · Follows evidence-based standards for ordering laboratory, radiology and other diagnostic studies

    · Uses evidence-based resources (i.e. Up to Date) for treatment options

    · Orders and prescribes appropriate medications based upon best practice standards

    · Appropriately consults and refers to specialty physicians

    · Performs procedures including, but not limited to, local anesthesia, digital blocks, wound management and closure, foreign body removal, incision and drainage, splinting, manages orthopedic appliances, fracture management, reduction of dislocations

    · Educates patients regarding the disease process and discharge plan

    · Approaches the vocation of health care as an opportunity for lifelong learning

    · Completes training requirements, including CME requirements for specialty

    · Serves as a resource in educating other staff members

    · Participates in the peer review process

    · Proactively partners with physicians and management team to meet and exceed collaboration and supervision requirements

    · Takes concerns to management instead of addressing with staff

    · Continues to see new patients that may arrive until the time the office closes

    · Efficiently evaluates and treats patients in a timely manner while still maintaining high quality and safety as well as an outstanding experience.

    Delivering Care in an Economical Manner

    · Accurately documents the patient visit and follow up care to communicate, mitigate risk, and ensure appropriate billing and coding

    · Completes charts within 7 days of shift

    Basic Qualifications

    · Multiple State Licenses and/or Eligibility for Licensing in our corporate locations, including Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Massachusetts, and Connecticut

    · Ability and willingness to travel across all eligible locations at the request of management

    · Able to see patients across the lifespan

    · Does not have an encumbered license

    · Ability to work well independently evaluating and managing patients

    · Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

    · Friendly and customer-service oriented

    · Able to work well in team environment

    · DOT certification

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Experience in an Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or Primary Care setting managing both adult and pediatric patients

    · CPR training
