    Our VP of Quality Risk and Infection Control is essential in delivering our mission across the country. This outstanding leader will be working in a national role with both our corporate and franchise clinics.

    Quality and Safety

    • Develop Quality, Safety, Risk, and Infection Control Dashboards with Regular Reporting at All Levels in the Organization

    • Create Quality Benchmarking in Urgent Care, Primary Care, and Occupational Medicine

    • Oversee our MIPS/MACRA Program to Ensure Compliant and Timely Reporting

    • Collaborate with Physician and APP Leadership to Create Programs to Optimize Performance in Quality Programs

    • Coordinate with Internal and External Stakeholders to Optimize Our Performance in P4P Programs

    • Support AFC in Becoming a High-Reliability Organization

    • Develop a Safety Auditing Program to Identify Areas of High-Risk and Harm

    • Create Safety Systems to Prevent Harm

    • Develop and Support a Workplace Violence Prevention Program

    • Build Educational Content in Collaboration with Training

    Risk

    • Oversee All Clinical Incident Reports and Quality of Care Complaints by:

    • Ensuring Appropriate Completion of Investigations by Staff

    • Leading RCAs, When Indicated

    • Creating System Changes Related to Findings

    • Referring to Peer Review

    • Ensuring Appropriate Coaching and Retraining is Completed

    • Monitoring the Appropriate Documentation of Incidents

    • Reporting to Leadership Team on Metrics Monthly Related to Incidents and Quality of Care

    • Perform Clinical Compliance Oversight as it relates to Clinical Policies and Procedures, Equipment, Radiation, Lab, and Vendor Compliance

    • Ensure that Licensed and Unlicensed Staff are Working Within Scope of Practice for Each State

    • Monitor to Ensure that Appropriate Training, Oversight, and Remediation is Occurring with Licensed and Unlicensed Staff

    • Provide Expertise on Scope of Practice Regulations

    • Serve as Clinical Expert with Practice Standards Across States

    • Facilitates and Directs Organization Wide Compliance Program in Support of Statutory Mandates, Regulatory Requirements, and Accreditation Standards, including CMS, OSHA, etc

    • Act as the Regulatory Liaison to CMS, OSHA, and DOH

    • Lead as the HIPAA Compliance Officer

    • Partner with Our Malpractice Carrier as Clinical Liaison and to Implement Best Practices and Reduce Risk

    Infection Control

    • Develop an Infection Control Plan to Prevent the Spread of Communicable Diseases with Our Locations

    • Partner with Training to Develop and Maintain Education in Infection Control

    • Develop Systems and Recommends Equipment Within the Clinic to Minimize Risk of Infection and Injury (ie safety needles, etc.)

    • Oversee Employee Health in Infection Control (ie needlesticks, TB prevention, etc.)

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Quality, Business, Public Health, or a Related Field

    • 5+ Years of Clinical Practice Experience, Including Care in an Ambulatory or Outpatient Setting

    • 5+ Years of Experience in Quality, Risk and/or Infection Control Oversight and Leadership

    • Active, Unrestricted Clinical License in State of Residence

    • Program Development Experience

    • Outstanding Leadership Skills

    • Strong Organizational, Planning, and Execution Skills

    • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Including the Ability to Influence Across a Matrixed Organization

    • Change Management Experience

    • Experience in Data Collection and Analysis

    • Outstanding Skills in Microsoft Suite and Technology

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Lean Six Sigma or Other Performance Improvement Methodology Experience

    • Master’s Degree in Healthcare-Related Field

    • CPHQ, CPPS, APIC Certification

    • RN or Other Clinical Degree (Respiratory Therapist, etc)

    • Experience Working in Systems with Multiple Regulatory Bodies
