Multi-Care Tech-Ground South Serveas a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the directsupervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating twoor more functional roles of the patient care plan of which may include thefollowing: Nurse Technician, Unit Secretary, EKG Technician, and MonitorTechnician. Accurately and promptlycommunicate with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team asrequired. Minimum Education: High school diploma orequivalent required. Required Skills: Requires criticalthinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimalsupervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and takeappropriate action. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS);Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required without completion of a LicensedPractical Nurse (LPN) OR post-secondary nursing education program; OR currentlyenrolled in a School of Nursing with completion of the Fundamentals ofNursing curriculum required to perform Nurse Technician duties; Certified EKGTechnician (CET) is required to perform Electrocardiogram duties; otherwisepreferred.
