Animal Medical Center is looking for full time professional groomer for our grooming department. The schedule would be Monday - Saturday. If working on a Saturday, there would be a day off during the week. The hours needed are between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (or depending on number of grooms for the day).

WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF A PROFESSIONAL GROOMER?

As a Professional Groomer you will continue to establish excellence in pet healthcare by:

Ensuring that the grooming assistant perform baths, nail trims, and brush outs as trained by you

Ensure that grooming dogs are walked throughout the day and the grooming room is clean and disinfected

Speak with clients about their grooming expectations

Work closely and respectfully with other team members in the veterinary practice ensure a positive client experience

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

At Animal Medical Center we strive to exceed our client's expectations by providing excellent service. Skills you would need for this position are:

Professional grooming skills. We look for team members that continue their education in the grooming industry

Excellent customer service skills both written and verbal

Love people as much as you love pets

Able to stand for long periods of time, be able to lift up to 50 pounds and more assisted

Preferred skill is previous veterinary experience, however, it is not required

WHAT OTHER THINGS DO I NEED TO KNOW?

All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future

Pay is commensurate with experience

The work schedule is full time

Dependability and being flexible is essential
