The web design coordinator serves as a member of the web and digital media team to design, build, and edit websites/pages and other web content to support the University's branding, enrollment, and advancement goals. This position works with University faculty and staff to edit and design clear, concise, and attractive content, within the requested deadline, and troubleshoot and assist with various web-related issues as they arise.

Major Responsibilities:

• Edit existing webpages in WordPress
• Create new pages in WordPress
• Monitor web performance reports and implement recommendations
• Create email templates in EMMA
• Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, digital media, or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Two-plus years of professional experience demonstrating strong website design skills
• Ability to manage and reliably deliver multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and accessibility guidelines
• Experience in WordPress, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
• This role must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, including managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
  Higher education experience is a plus

Pay $45,000 to $50,000
