1058 Job Opportunities Job Title: Float Pool Registered Nurse - Per Diem Closing Date/Time: Continuous Salary: $46.91 - $53.09 Hourly Job Type: Temporary or Extra-Help Location: Colton, California The Job Benefits Supplemental Questions Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for versatile, competent, experienced registered nurses to serve as Float Pool Registered Nurses - Per Diem who perform a full range of professional nursing duties on a variety of patient care units such as Medical - Surgical, Telemetry, Critical Care (Medical and Surgical Intensive Care), Maternal-Child Health (Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Newborn Nursery, Post-Partum and Pediatrics) and the Emergency Department. Duties include assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, administering medications and treatments, performing documentation and providing education to patients and families. Float Pool Registered Nurses - Per Diem are assigned throughout the hospital and have varying schedules and unit assignments. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT 1) ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Interested applicants must indicate availability for all shifts. Shift differentials are provided. 2) Requires lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance, and carrying of up to 50 pounds. 3) The work environment may involve exposure to assaultive and combative patients. 4) Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation and verification of employment history and education. 5) Float Pool Registered Nurses - Per Diem are not regular positions within the County, and there should be no expectation of continued employment or guaranteed hours. Working as a Float Pool Registered Nurse - Per Diem does not preclude you from applying and competing for Regular positions within the County (Refer to the County of San Bernardino website for current open recruitments). Float Pool Registered Nurse - Per Diem positions participate in the County's PST Deferred Compensation Plan and do not earn any other benefits. 6) Candidates must be qualified to perform professional nursing care on at least three (3) different hospital units and assignments will vary according to certification(s), competency and qualifications. Additional certifications may be required depending on the area of assignment and must be maintained throughout employment. Minimum Requirements: Candidates must possess allof the following: License: Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing. Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a licensed registered nurse in an acute care hospital. Note: experience must provide the knowledge, skills and competencies required to work in three (3) different hospital units.
