Number 28525 Job Details The Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant Position Overview The Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant orders, draws, receives and processes laboratory specimens and is responsible for specimen accuracy and integrity in all parts of Pre-Analytical specimen handling. This role will require using independent judgment in following established venipuncture procedures & works under general supervision as well as the ability to inspire confidence in and communicate effectively with patients and family, registration staff, unit secretaries, healthcare providers & visitors. QUALIFICATIONS Education · High school diploma or equivalent.
