Job Description
Summary
Provide personal transportation with the ultimate comfort, individualized service, and safety of our residents while out in the larger community.
Essential functions
· Operates cab or bus and controls for both.
· Inspect the cab/bus before and after driving.
· Maintain the cab/bus detailing, registration, insurance, inspection and oil change.
· Clean the interior and exterior of the cab/bus.
· Gas cab/bus
· Report any mechanical issues with cab/bus.
· Assist residents with any equipment, on/off bus, any packages.

Physical Requirements
· Must be able to stand for periods of time.
· Must be able to bend, stretch, stoop and walk.
Work environment
· Will work in a well-lit and ventilated area.
· May be required to work beyond normal working hours, and in other positions temporarily.
· May be subject to callbacks during emergency conditions (e.g. severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.)
· May be subject to exposure to infectious waste, disease conditions (e.g. TB, AIDS, Hepatitis B Virus, etc.) and hazardous chemicals.
Qualifications
Experience:
· Safe driving record
· Specific business experience with older adults or in the retirement housing industry preferred.
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent
Licensure/Certification:
· Must hold a valid and current driver’s license.
