Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (Strategic Customer Group) is recruiting for an Associate Director, Contracting Strategy & Analytics, located in Titusville, NJ.
Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.
Role Objective:
The Associate Director, Contract Strategy & Analytics will provide oversight to the team responsible for evaluating and implementing contracting pricing strategies across multiple contracted channels and franchises. This role will support contracted data and Analytics & Reporting for Contracting (ARC) system partnering with IT and our key stakeholders to identify, prioritize, develop, and implement pricing and contracting related analytics capabilities. This position evaluates the impact of new pricing strategies on people, process, and systems to ensure compliant contracting operations. In addition, this position is responsible for the development of analytics to measure contract performance and compliance. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the ongoing advancement of contracted data assets & capabilities to deliver actionable insights that directly influence business decisions and drive organizational success. This includes development and implementation of performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools that align and enable business goals.
Manage team responsible for partnering cross functionally across Pricing Strategy, Enterprise Contract Management, Government, Finance and Marketing, to evaluate and finalize contract pricing strategies for CPC review and implementation across all contracted channels that include managed markets, institutional, physicians/clinics, Long Term Care and other specialty channels. Ensures proposed pricing strategies are implemented by evaluating current people, process & systems. Ensure compliance requirements are met based on the CPC approved contracting strategies.
Partner with IT to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across analytical outputs.
Demonstrate strong leadership presence, influencing cross-functional teams and gaining buy-in as needed for analytic-driven initiatives.
Continuously seek out and implement efficiencies & enhancements to ensure all processes are efficient, meets the needs of the business, and mitigate risk.
Perform other duties, assignments, and/or special projects as time or circumstances permit.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required.
A minimum of 6 years of relevant business experience is required.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels is required.
Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving complex environment, strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills is required
Translate complex data into actionable recommendations to enable business decisions focused on trends, risks, and opportunities is required.
Technical acumen and ability to liaison between IT and the business is required.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire a small team is strongly preferred.
Must be innovative, proactive and self-motivated to seek out opportunities to develop new and innovative solutions.
Strong proficiency in analytical tools such as Tableau/Qlik/Power BI is strongly preferred.
Previous experience leading projects/project management and guiding peers is strongly preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire a small team is strongly preferred.
Pharmaceutical business experience and knowledge of Innovative Medicine’s portfolio of products is strongly preferred.
Travel up to 10% of the time to domestic destinations.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $137,000 to $235,750.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. ·
