    The Associate Director, Medical Information, Payer and Health Systems reports to the Director Med Info-PHS and leads the strategy for the development and dissemination of Medical Information scientific content and materials to Payers, Healthcare Intermediaries and Health Systems across the oncology portfolio of J&J IM products. Responsible for quantitative and qualitative payer content related success criteria reports and metrics.

    Payer Scientific Content and Materials – 70%

    • Leads the development and timely dissemination of tailored, evidence-based scientific materials for oncology products.
    • Leads the development of AMCP approved products and pre-approval dossiers, Medicaid formulary requests, and custom requests working collaboratively with Medical Affairs and Real-World Value & Evidence (RW V&E) therapeutic area leads.
    • Engages in shaping and development of the Payer Digital Assets in collaboration with Med Info CSI-Digital partners.
    • Leads the development and dissemination of scientific information to NCCN guidelines/compendia/clinical pathway developers.
    • Works closely with RW V&E Field, Medical Affairs Therapeutic Area team(s) to guide creation and delivery of responses to unsolicited Medical Information Requests from Payers and Health Systems
    • Leads the development and dissemination of scientific information in support of assigned products to Clinical Decision Resource Organizations (CDRO) in partnership with Medical Affairs, RW V&E, SCG, and Therapeutic Teams
    • Serves as medical reviewer for SCG copy approval committee for oncology assets.
    • Leads the correction of third-party information and Medicaid testimonies.
    • Support interactions with drug compendia and collaborate with Director Med Info PHS and business partners to evaluate strategies for compendia interactions.
    • Ensures optimized delivery of high-quality and efficient Payer scientific content and materials by vendors, provides real-time feedback and first line scientific review of materials as needed.

    Voice of Customer and Metrics – 20%

    • Leverage voice of customer and other sources of customer information and identify actionable items to enhance development of Payer and Health Systems materials.

    Projects and Research – 10%

    • Participates in ad-hoc projects and activities as assigned by management.
    • Conducts benchmark and research on the landscape of Payer, Healthcare Intermediaries, and health systems.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Advanced Degree PharmD or PhD is required.

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:

    • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Medical Information or Health Economics and Outcomes Research
    • Experience in National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and Clinical Pathway policies, submission, and manufacturers engagement process
    • Strong knowledge of Medical Information process, medical writing, clinical response creation experiences
    • Expertise in the healthcare industry, clinical knowledge or practice across multiple therapeutic areas
    • Excellence in leadership skills, collaboration in a matrix environment, influencing and communication (both written and presentation)
    • The ability to work 3days a week in the Titusville office and travel up to 10% domestically for conference attendance and company meetings.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with product value assessment by Health Technology Assessment (HTAs) Organization
    • Working knowledge of United States health care systems and payers - specifically understanding business models and perspectives of managed care and public sector
    • Customer Focus – drives excellent customer service and exhibits understanding of healthcare landscape.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

    137,000-200,000
