Position Summary:
The Associate Director, Neuroscience Strategy Implementation, is a member of the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area’s Portfolio Strategy and Integration (NPSI) Team within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. They are responsible for creating, championing and deploying strategic business processes and systems, in order to enhance organizational capabilities and enable effective portfolio strategy implementation. They have strong project management skills; are able to handle large-scale projects or processes; and are adept at conducting strategic planning and corporate initiatives. They leverage systems, tools and information to deliver portfolio reports, insights and scenarios; and use narrative presentation skills to help our team and leadership to promote and exemplify TA’s vision, mission, strategy and pipeline and drive employee engagement. The Associate Director reports to the Director, Neuroscience Strategy Implementation.
Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in life sciences.
Post-graduate degree in a life sciences, scientific or business discipline preferred. Neuroscience expertise is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the global Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Medical Device/Diagnostics industry, or an institution that participates in pharmaceutical/Healthcare research is required. Knowledge and experience of one or more of drug development, drug discovery, finance, or regulatory affairs required.
Direct experience in Program Management, Scientific or Medical Communications, or Strategic Planning strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to use visual design skills to convey complex messages and strategic insights clearly and persuasively are required.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, consult, facilitate and communicate effectively in a global matrix environment, with the ability to build positive relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of hierarchy, regardless of authority.
Self motivated, with a high level of comfort with operating as an independent worker in an entrepreneurial environment. Big picture orientation with solid attention to detail. A results and performance driven demeanor with solid sense of accountability.
Up to 10% travel may be required.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$137,000-$235,750
