    We are searching for the best talent for Associate Systems Verification Engineer to be in Santa Clara, CA.

    Purpose:

    The Associate System Verification Engineer will develop tools and processes vital for preparation and execution of design verification. The engineer will work closely with system engineering and quality engineering to develop and ensure the testability of requirements, while developing test methods that will holistically verify the safety and efficacy of the Johnson & Johnson Surgical Robotics platform. This is a hands-on engineering role which touches on various engineering disciplines required for formal testing of a complex surgical robotic system, including mechanical, electrical, optical, firmware, and software. The individual will work closely with engineers from all functional teams to ensure compliance with FDA design control process (21 CFR820.30).

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is $86,000 to $138,000.

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

    • * Support verification strategy and execution for system level verification
      
      • Work closely with system engineering and quality engineering ensuring requirement testability
      • Develop test methods that meet complex requirement intent. This will include protocol development, fixture development, fixture qualification, test script development, test script validation, test method validation, analysis of data, and report/test summary generation
      • B.S. in Engineering or other applicable technical degree
      • 1+ years of experience as a System Verification Engineer in the Medical Device or Robotics field
      • Prior experience writing verification plans/protocols and executing formal testing in a regulated industry
      • Prior experience with optical tracking systems for testing applications
      • Prior experience in mechanical fixture development and qualification
      • Prior experience with test method validation, statistical methods, and non-product software validation
      • Ability to develop testing/analysis software scripts in Python, MATLAB, or other scripting languages
      • Understanding the design controls process and successful completion of the product development life cycle of complex capital equipment or reusable devices
      • Ability to travel up to 10%, international and domestic
