Responsibilities We're seeking a Health Promotion Specialist to join our team. As a Health Fitness Specialist you will work with our clients in a corporate fitness center setting. You will be responsible for helping our members meet their healthy living goals. As our new Health Promotion Specialist you will: Health Fitness Specialist 60% Supervise and monitor exercise participants. Perform fitness assessments, determine exercise prescriptions, and design workout programs for a diverse population, including a variety of high risk clientele. Provide one-on-one consulting, training and motivation. Design & Implement of incentive, health promotion, and other specialty programs. Instruct of group exercise classes. Perform administrative tasks associated with facility operations Other duties as assigned. Health Promotion Specialist 40% Assist with design and development of detailed strategic plan for outcomes focused health and productivity management programs for the fitness center Provide hands-on engagement with fitness center participants including programming (i.e. wellness challenges) and health coaching Develop plan for and disseminate cutting edge health and wellness communications using all available resources Work collaboratively with internal and external program stakeholders Manage and prioritize multiple requests and projects simultaneously Track and measure fitness center program outcomes and communicate results to key stakeholders Work collaboratively with the client on other community outreach initiatives Assist with the coordination of wellness committee activities, providing tactical support and coordination for monthly onsite fitness center health promotion programs Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health or Equivalent Preferred Qualifications: CPR/AED certified at time of hire or ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of hire Currently hold industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS, NASM or ACSM Experience teaching group exercise classes Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills Superior customer service skills We are an equal opportunity employer EXOS is proud to be an affirmative action / equal opportunity employer.
