THIS POSITION WILL SIT ONSITE AT 13625 TECHNOLOGY DRIVE, EDEN PRAIRIE MINNESOTA 55344

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop integrations between vendor tool APIs and automation frameworks
• Enhance the version control pipeline for VMWare vRealize Automation & Orchestrator
• Enhance the virtual machine template build & distribution pipelines
• Incorporate Test Automation into code promotion pipelines
• Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
• Identify / quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems
• Support, design and improve on monitoring, alerting and tooling efforts
• Ability and willingness to augment current expertise with new open source or targeted vendor technologies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• 2+ years of experience with full lifecycle development
• Experience with and understanding of Python 3.6
• Experience with VMware vRealize Product Suite (Automation and Orchestrator)
• Experience with Virtual Machine configuration (CPU, RAM, Disk)
• Experience with Bash and PowerShell Scripting
• Experience with GitHub/SCM (Code Push/Pull)
• Experience with Jenkins Pipeline Creation
• Experience with REST/API (GET/POST calls, 3rd party system integration)
• Experience with Agile methodology

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of Chef Cookbooks
• Software architecture concepts
• Network familiarity
• Packer and Vagrant familiarity
• System admin experience (Windows & RHEL)
