    Job Duties:

    Develop and enforce CIS security standards for Windows and Linux operating systems using Chef or a similar tool. Deliver new cloud services to the business, while simplifying and improving service consumption and operational management. Leverage Python REST APIs to develop “Zero” touch provisioning, patching, change, and decommissioning of VM, Kubernetes, and PaaS database. Develop REST APIs in Python using BDD methodology and implement public cloud security guardrails. Partner with J&J applications teams for proof of technology in a public cloud computing environment. Assist the team's continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD) running on Jenkins. Partner with J&J application teams and drive resolution of sophisticated technical problems across infrastructure and application stack complying with China CPCS regulations. Partner with the J&J application and infrastructure teams to prioritize value-added efforts, and coordinate for release planning within the automation team. Design, engineer, and implement Infrastructure As Code (IaC) with API first and microservices-based approach for public cloud service. Leverage internal and external resources to develop, advance, and retain talent. Review current processes, find automation opportunities, and build common frameworks in an agile manner that cultivate adoption of automation across all layers. Groom Jira features and stories to improve reliability and reduce support incidents for global infrastructure.

    Requirements:

    Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Automation Lead Engineer-related occupation.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

    $179,982 - $188,000/year
