Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting a Summer Intern, Biomarker Predictive Modeling to be located in La Jolla, CA.
The Summer Intern, Biomarker Predictive Modeling will be a member of the Neuroscience Biomarkers team and will be quantifying relationships between biomarkers and clinical measures related to Neuropsychiatric and Neurodegenerative Disease areas.
The position will focus on using biomarker measurements to identify models predictive of disease stage and/or progression.
You will work with Neuroscience Biomarker Signatures members to conduct exploratory analysis of biomarker data from clinical trials. This entails univariate analyses to quantify relationships amongst biomarkers and between biomarkers and clinical measures. Machine learning and multivariate modeling are then used to create predictive biomarker signature models. You will work in conjunction with team members on summarizing analysis outcomes with the goal of supporting clinical development efforts.
