THIS IS A PART TIME SEASONAL POSITION THAT RUNS UNTIL 12/30/21

SUMMARY:  As a Box Office Team Member for the Showboat Branson Belle, you will use a computerized system to reserve and sell seating for each two hour dinner cruise, accepting payment from guests, and providing excellent guest service. We are looking for applicants that will demonstrate attention to detail, multitasking skills, and communication skills through one on one interaction, phone, and radio communications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Uses computerized program to reserve and sell admission to an assigned seating attraction
• Provides guest service and handles guest concerns
• Accepts payment in various forms and makes accurate change when necessary
• Answers questions concerning tickets, promotions, schedules, and reservations, and gives information concerning coming attractions at Showboat and other Silver Dollar City properties
• Maintains accuracy and attention to detail; keeps daily balance sheet of payments received and tickets sold
• Must be comfortable working in a small space with other workers
• Must be able to demonstrate multitasking skills
• Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards
• Solves problems with minimal supervision; must be self-motivated and self-directed
• Interacts with fellow employees without distracting them while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.  Communicates with team members via two-way radio as needed
• Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions
• Regularly required to stand or walk

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:  Previous customer service experience preferred.  Proven competency working on computer (navigation through program and keyboard use) required.  Previous cash handling experience preferred.  Must be able to write and speak English.
