  • Responsibilities
    • Plans and assists with lean activities
    • Works with finance and management to maintain a project pool
    • Trains new employees on A3s
    • Work with value stream owners to create a system to ensure everyone is conducting the Lean principles correctly and consistently
    • Train and coach teams and process owners for the identified Lean projects to complete project definition and implementation
    • Document Lean activities and initiatives
    • Mentor a best practice sharing internal network supported by Lean Principles
    • Be a leader, mentor and coach towards integration of Lean principles, values, philosophies and tools for driving continuous improvement through coaching
    • Supports all Lean Projects across the organization and Production area
    • All other duties as assigned
    • Coordinates and leads monthly lean report out meeting
    • Serves as back up SQF Practitioner
    • Works with the Quality department on hold disposition
    • Participates in Gemba walks daily
    • Quality Management System backup auditor
    • Manages all plant documents
    • Assists with all Change Management in the plant

    Required Skills

    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Moderate skill level in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Individuals must be adept at analyzing and recommending solutions to a variety of problems and subjects.
    • Able to write and follow detailed, written instructions
    • Able to read and understand regulatory agency documents

     

    Required Experience

    • Preferred Lean or Manufacturing Experience

    • SCHEDULE DEMANDS:

      General schedule is dayshift; however, employees must be willing to work alternate schedules that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.

       PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

      Sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods of time.

      Occasional lifting.

      Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.

      Use of various hand and electrical office equipment.
