Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma Required. 1 Year of College Preferred. *** Experience: 1 year Healthcare/Medical - Clerical Required. 1 year Medical Staff Office Preferred. *** License/Certification/Registries (valid for the State of MS): Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) Preferred, or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM)Preferred. *** Skills: Must type 45 wpm, able to manage frequent interruptions during the day, excellent communication skills required, written and verbal, and willingness to learn new skills as job requires. Type 55 to 60 wpm, knowledge of a credentialing software, preferably ECHO, process oriented, organized, and able to prioritize work preferred.
