Join the team of child welfare and behavior health practitioners launching an innovative new program being introduced in Philadelphia!
The Crisis Access Link Model – CALM service is a short-term service that provides a mobile, on-site, face-to-face therapeutic response to a youth and their resource family following an initial child welfare placement or following a move to a new child welfare placement.
The CALM Family Support Partner will support children/youth and resource parents during the initial out of home placement and/or movement placements within the designated CALM region. The CALM Family Support Partner will work with the Intervention Specialist to improve outcomes for children/youth entering or moving within the child welfare system by supporting greater permanency, creating critical pathways of connection across systems, and providing supports to prevent crisis/disruption from emerging and creating stabilization.
Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED.
Lived experience as a kin or resource caregiver for Family Support Partners; lived experience with child welfare and/or behavior health services for Youth Support Partners required. Eligibility for Certification as a Peer Partner within in one year of employment required.
One year experience in a previous peer partner role for Family Partners preferred. Previous experience in a formal or informal mentoring or peer role with youth for Youth Support Partners preferred.
Schedule: Full and Part Time positions; Weekday and Weekend shifts available.
