We are a dedicated private duty home care agency focused on providing compassionate, high-quality care to clients (seniors and veterans) in their homes. We are looking for a motivated Talent Specialist to support caregiver (CNA, HHA) recruitment, personnel management, and general office administration.
Job Responsibilities
1. Recruit & Hire Caregivers
- Post job listings across job boards and placement services.
- Review applications and schedule interviews.
- Conduct interviews, explain job responsibilities, and check references.
- Guide applicants through required onboarding steps, including:
- CPR certification
- HIPAA & OSHA training
- COVID-19 Screening & Reporting Protocol training
- Complete hiring process:
- All hiring and emergency forms
- Provide and review the policy handbook with required signatures
- Provide pay rate and pay schedule information
- Notify employee of assignment details
- Notify Administrator/Nurse/Care Coordination Teams of new employee and assigned clients
- Complete personnel file using the personnel file checklist.
2. Maintain Personnel Files
- Conduct periodic audits for accuracy and completeness.
- Track document expirations and request updates as needed.
3. Office Management
- Answer phone calls and greet visitors.
- Notify scheduling if an employee is late or absent from a client visit.
- Manage job postings.
- Train caregiving employees on software
- Answer employee pay and any other inquiries
- Communicate with contract sites and confirm updates.
- Document employee concerns and forward copies to Management.
- Document disciplinary issues as needed.
- Order office supplies and maintain filing systems.
4. Update Caregiver Information
- Update phone numbers, addresses, I-9 documents, and W-4 forms as needed.
Qualifications
- Recruiting or Human Resources experience preferred.
- Must speak and write in both English and Spanish.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
- Professional and compassionate demeanor.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Proficiency with Google & Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to operate standard office equipment (computer, copier, fax, etc.).
- Ability to work on a computer up to 7 hours per day.
- Regularly required to sit for long periods; occasional standing and walking.
- Must use hands for computer/office equipment operation.
- Close vision required for computer work.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Working Conditions
- Standard office environment with typical office-related physical demands.
- Occasional weekend and/or evening work may be required.
