The position will work with internal teams (Information Systems, Registration, Nursing etc.) to implement new and changing portal product features. The Patient Portal Coordinator will act as a liaison to the technical teams and patients on behalf of the healthcare teams. The Portal Coordinator will directly provide education on the benefits of portal access and usage and assist with enrollment and the initial log-in. The individual will need to be mindful of privacy requirements related to adherence to patient confidentiality and specific HIPAA privacy policies. Job Requirements Bachelors Degree in Business or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education. At least 2 years experience working with in a customer service position. Experience working in a healthcare setting and interacting with patients, visitors, staff and physicians preferred.
