This Development Associate II, Corporate Relations will be responsible for: * Reporting to the AVP Corporate Relations at Boston Childrens Hospital Trust. Using a broad understanding of the departments fundraising philosophy, and employs a number of skills to communicate effectively with the hospital staff and the Trusts constituents including high-level donors and hospital and Trust Board members. * Providing administrative support, the development associate schedules corporate prospect/donor, board/corporate volunteer, and physician meetings; assists in acknowledging, booking, and tracking of philanthropic gifts; provides support for donor/constituent management in donor electronic database; prepares and conducts mailings; attends departmental meetings. * In conjunction with the AVP, will handle group financial reports, expense accounting, and annual budget forecasting/reporting for the corporate relations group. * Working with the Corp Relations Officer to prepare letters and on line applications for the Medical Education Grant Program. * Assisting in stewardship activities with corporate donors which include brief reports, hospital visits/receptions, and assist with PR/Social Media coordination to acknowledge corporate gifts and involvement. * Performing other special projects as needed. To qualify, you must have: * The knowledge of theories, principles and concepts typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required and one-year comparable experience preferred. * Excellent problem solving and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines. Strongly detailed oriented, high level of accuracy, and good prioritization skills. * The willingness to work some evenings and be flexible with hours as required by the position. * The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with constituents and hospital staff in a professional and courteous manner. * A high regard for confidentiality and sensitivity in dealing with volunteers, donors, patients and doctors. * Strong writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * The ability to work well as part of a team and function with minimal supervision.
