Starting Now Intern Department: Starting Now Schedule: Temporary Shift: Day Shift Hours: 20 Hour Job Details: * Starting Now Intern This is a non-pay internship. Interns will be responsible for providing clinical services, under supervision, to patients in the Starting Now program. The focus of the clinical work will be to address the addiction and co-occurring disorders needs of clients in Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient levels of care. Individual and group counseling modalities are utilized in the Starting Now program, and interns will be introduced to the clinical core competencies of substance abuse counseling. It is highly recommended that interns work toward the Apprentice Addiction Professional (AAP) credential from the Vermont Alcohol and Drug Abuse Certification Board during their internship at Starting now.
