BRIGHTSIDE ACADEMY IS HIRING HEAD START LEAD TEACHERS FOR THE PHILADELPHIA REGION!
Are you a teacher that is caring, nurturing and passionate about making an impact on young lives? As a professional individual, the classroom Head Start Lead Teacher works closely with the Head Start Assistant Teacher to provide and maintain a positive and appropriate educational program that meets the guidelines of the Head Start Performance Standards. The focus of the program is to provide comprehensive education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to the participants. This position is a 10 month position.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (child development, special education, or human service field) with 30 ECE credits OR
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and 18 ECE credits AND
Minimum of 1 year teaching in an early childhood environment
