Cashier Dining Center Shift: Evening Schedule: Part - Time Regular The Dining Center of BSA Health System offers eight food stations serving Mexican, Asian, American food and much more. The Dining Center hours are 6 am 10:15 am for breakfast and 11 am 8 pm for lunch and dinner. The Dining Center is open every day including holidays and weekends. The Dining Center serves patients, family members, employees, guests and all customers. The cashier for the Dining Center will operate computerized cash register and follow proper cash handling procedures. This position is responsible for replenishing, restocking beverage counters, and cleaning dining room tables. In addition: Cashiers are expected to fill in at various other areas in order to provide Great Customer Service. These areas would include 2-3 of the following areas as training is provided: Deli, Pizza, Classic Buffet, Specialty Areas, Grill, and Dish Room Duties. Education/Licenses/Certifications: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required, willing to work with school schedule Serve Safe certification a plus Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Six-months prior restaurant/institutional food service experience with food preparation/handling preferred Previous computerized cash register experience is preferred Ability to handle money with accuracy Knowledge of sanitation and food prep is preferred Must be able to read, write, and speak English Basic math skills required Able to multi-task and tolerate interruptions constantly. Must be able to communicate, exhibit teamwork, and provide great customer service skills
