We are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive growth and expand our impact throughout the Kansas City area. This is a high-visibility, relationship-focused role for a motivated sales professional who wants their work to truly matter.
You will own the full business development process—building referral relationships, educating the community on the value of aging at home, and converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships. If you thrive on relationship-based selling, autonomy, and purpose-driven work, this role is for you.
Build and grow a strong pipeline of new business through referral partners, networking, and community engagement
Educate referral sources and families on the benefits of in-home care and Caring Senior Service's unique approach
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, following up, and closing
Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physician offices, assisted living facilities, senior centers, veteran organizations, and other community partners
Represent Caring Senior Service at local events and professional meetings as a trusted resource for senior care
Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals while accurately tracking activity in CRM systems
Collaborate closely with the local office team to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional client experience
Proven success in sales, business development, or relationship-based closing roles
Experience in healthcare, senior care, home care, or related services strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field
Knowledge of the Kansas City healthcare or senior services market is a plus
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
