    Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Human Resources- North America Corporate Functions Intern. This role will work remotely and partner closely with our NA based HR team. The HR Intern will be a part of the North America Corporate Functions team reporting to Head of HR, Government Affairs and NA Law. The intern will partner with business based human resources partners across the team to support ongoing talent initiatives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Johnson & Johnson's summer internship program is designed to help successful, highly motivated talent make an impact on patients every day and become tomorrow’s leaders. The internship is designed to provide an integrated, robust experience to successful, highly motivated, entry-level talent. Participants will experience the breadth and depth of J&J’s Human Resources function through by participating in key projects and programs.

    The Corporate Functions intern can expect to support the following initiatives:

    • Worldwide Government Affairs & Policy (WWGA&P) People Leader Development Series
      • The intern will focus on curating a people leadership development series that will enhance the management capabilities of our global leaders. This will require collaboration with the business leaders, HR team, and partnership with the Global Talent Management team specifically for the DC office location (with plans for virtual facilitation).
    • Development Plan – Career Conversation Campaign
      • Design a communications campaign in support of the organizations focus on ensuring all employees have a development plan and conversation with their manager. o The communications campaign should be able to be implemented across multiple business groups.
  • Qualifications

    A qualified candidate should meet the following criteria:

    • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0 Cumulative is strongly preferred
    • Candidate must be actively enrolled pursuing either a bachelor’s degree (but not necessarily taking classes)
    • Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required
    • Able to demonstrate strong project management skills, excellent communication, presentation skills and leadership qualities are required.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
    • Candidate must be able to work full time (40 hours per week) during the duration of the internship. 
    • Candidate must be able to work effectively in a virtual environment.
    • Candidate must be affiliated with the Quinnipiac University Program.
