Carbon Health is growing rapidly and we are seeking an Accounting Manager to join the Controllership team. Our ideal partner will have a strong foundation in US GAAP and experience in implementing financial close processes/procedures (including internal controls), this is a crucial role on a small team that will implement and drive operational excellence in executing our monthly close and consolidations, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, while having responsibility for a diverse range of accounting, finance, and compliance duties.

This role is REMOTE friendly and can be located anywhere in the U.S.!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage the month-end close process, review of journal entries and account reconciliations, financial fluctuation analysis
• Plan and design business processes in order to improve and support scalability in the team organization, business systems, and activities
• Preparation for US GAAP consolidated financial statements (including department allocations and intercompany eliminations) on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
• Optimize NetSuite and other reporting tools in preparing trial balance account analysis and consolidated financial reporting
• Develop and mentor accounting staff to build their professional career and maximize potential.
• Implement and manage quality control procedures and promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational innovation

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study; CPA (or equivalent) preferred
• 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate accounting roles
• Experience with high-growth companies is preferred
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
