    Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of Clinical Associates for the School of Health Professions to join our exceptional team on the Charlotte Campus. This position provides instructional support and supervision to students in various settings for the School of Health Professions. In addition to the valuable clinical experiences made available by our community hospitals and affiliates, FSW boasts a state of the art Simulation Education Center that has obtained global recognition. Faculty, staff, and students in the School of Health Professions are active in community and professional activities at the local, state, national, and international level. As an FSW Clinical Associate, you have the opportunity to directly impact the college mission to inspire our students to ' Dedicate to Graduate'. This is not an online/remote position.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the assigned discipline and documented evidence, as verified through transcripts and educational plans, of progress towards a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
    • Licensed by the Florida Department of Health as a health professional in the related discipline.
    • Recent clinical experience in the related discipline.
    • Proficient of health information management and technology skills, related to the discipline’s clinical setting.
    • Commitment to professional development.
    • Familiarity with clinical facility policy and procedures.

    Requirements

    • Ability to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
    • Interior design or sales experience/knowledge a plus but not required.
    • Physically able to be on your feet and move throughout our showrooms over an 8-12 hour work day.
    • Ability to maintain emotional composure in a professional business setting with customers, peers and management.
    • Strong work ethic and dependability a must
    • General computer proficiency
    • Professional dress required

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    Work performed in a store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopies and fax machines. Use of personal cell phone for customer contact and follow up and personal computer tablet for room sketching. Regularly required to view, see, manipulate and handle product to demonstrate to customers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee continuously walks or stands on the store’s showroom floor. Stands for extended periods of time. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and required to lift and carry small items up to 30 pounds, such as lamps, etc
