Career Coach Clinical Pathways
Job Description
Prepares students, program participants, and current University of Maryland Medical System team members for entry into and advancement within clinical careers through systemwide career coaching, barrier resolution, and wraparound support. This position plays a critical role in strengthening the clinical workforce across UMMS by guiding individuals through academic, vocational, and licensure pathways, while supporting long-term career development and retention. Partners closely with UMMS leadership, academic institutions, and community organizations to ensure a reliable, diverse, and well-prepared pipeline of talent to meet current and future workforce needs.

Tracks participant progress, job placement, and retention outcomes to evaluate program effectiveness.
Provides regular reports and insights to leadership to inform continuous improvement in workforce development strategies.
Adjusts coaching and engagement approaches to strengthen conversion, retention, and career advancement outcomes.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

_ This role is funded for an initial two-year period through a grant. Renewal is possible if future funding is secured; however, continuation beyond the grant period cannot be guaranteed._
