The Radiology Transport/Aide .performs transportation of patients to and from Radiology Department. Other duties include but are not limited to; Darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients and front office duties. This performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients. Other duties include, but are not limited to, filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records. The Radiology Transport/Aide should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology person should demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner. Maneuvers through the hospital as well as the reception area, as well as, outside storage area. Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, and by running errands throughout the facility.
