    Job Summary: Central Florida Pulmonary Group is looking for an Appointment Scheduler to join our team! This position is non-exempt status, full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Orlando, Florida are encouraged to apply.

    What You'll Do:

    Answer a high volume of phone calls

    Set and confirm appointments

    Responsible for follow up calls to schedule appointments for existing patients

    Advise patients on details of appointments and how they can prepare

    Communicate with staff, nurses, and physicians

    Data entry – use in various systems (Greenway Prime Suite, EMR, Excel, Email)

    Answer and/or follow up on all patient requests

    Fill in for front desk associates as needed

    What You'll Need:

    High School diploma or GED

    1-2 years of Medical Office scheduling

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Must demonstrate abilities in healthcare business operations

    Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills

    Strong sense of responsibility and initiative

    Bilingual Spanish speaker (Preferred / Not required)
