Job Description

• Provides pastoral care and wellness support for residents in an ecumenical/inter-faith community, their families, and associates.
• Offers ministry to residents in all areas of care, with special attention given to residents in skilled nursing and assisted living.
• Plans worship, officiates memorial services, visitations, and leads Bible studies and support groups.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
• Performs various administrative duties for the department such as preparing bulletins, responding to resident and family member requests, coordinating with other departments through computer and phone functions.

Qualifications

• Master of Divinity Degree from an accredited seminary is required.
• Recognition and endorsement from a major religious organization is required.
• Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Certification is preferred.
• Experience working with adults in various stages of cognitive abilities is preferred.
